Mini kitchen getting ready for Xmas
I made the kitchen last year, but my daughter wasn't all that interested until I started to decorate the minis for Xmas, as well as my real house. Suddenly, it's all SO much more exciting! The tree will come out from under the house, and the decorations have been brought down from the attic. The baking just needs to be mince pies, instead of pastry.
This is a very nice blog you have going here. What's really nice is that in looking at all you have going on, I see the potential for many mother/daughter projects in the future!

ReplyDeleteYour kitchen is really nice! I am a novice blogger as well:-) looking good so far!
ReplyDeleteYour blog looks great, Vee. I love the globes you've finished. I have a question about your kitchen - I'm afraid to ask. Is that a Kiwi spider in the corner of the right top of the fireplace chimney? If so, I'll be cancelling my trip to NZ. lol
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, yes that's an Avondale spider, they are the ones that were used in the movie Arachnaphobia. I was going for fauna verisimilitude! And I had to dash around to my daughter's house very early yesterday morning to remove a 4" specimen that had paralysed her with fear, so she couldnt get out of the kitchen.
